Ameziel planned to occupy an approximately 230,000-square-foot warehouse tenant space in Cobb County, Georgia and install new racking systems to support high-piled storage operations. The project required a coordinated permitting approach addressing both the proposed rack system and the fire/life safety features of the warehouse.

Engineering Fire Protection, LLC provided warehouse fire protection and rack storage consulting services to support the client from planning through permit approval. EFP helped specify the racking components, prepare structural rack engineering, and develop rack profile documentation and load assessment calculations so the client could purchase the rack system directly based on a defined engineering specification. This helped reduce reliance on intermediaries and gave the client a clearer, more cost-effective path for procurement and installation.

EFP also evaluated the building’s fire and life safety features, performed commodity classification and fire sprinkler analysis, and prepared high-piled storage/life safety drawings for permit submission. Throughout the process, EFP coordinated with Cobb County, responded to permitting questions, and helped the client obtain the required approvals for the proposed warehouse racking and high-piled storage operation.
